On 28 January 2024, the Chemjoy team gathered at the conference room of the company’s plant located in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province for the annual year-end meeting.
An overview of Chemjoy’s financial situation was given by the financial department first. The detailed numbers provided an excellent overall understanding of the company’s general performance. Dr. Wang, the company’s general manager asked a few questions about details of some businesses involving transactions with other local companies. Dr. Wang Kai and Mr. Lei Song, who are in charge of engineering at the plant shared a few suggestions about how transactions with outside contractors can be better documented and handled. Their input provided valuable insight for everyone.
Members of the engineering team began their presentations next. Each member provided details of their respective responsibilities at the plant and gave progress updates on installation and improvement work completed in the previous year and those that are currently ongoing. Dr. Wang inquired about some of the most recent and essential projects assigned to the plant and a discussion followed. The experience shared by the Chemjoy team stationed at the plant proved to be enlightening for those based in Beijing as well.
Next, R&D team members proudly presented the research and development work they have completed in 2023. Their presentations served as a demonstration of the meticulous lab work the Chemjoy chemist team has always been known for. Dr. Wang, also an experienced chemical engineer, gave his expert opinion on some of the key development work currently underway for Chemjoy’s most valued clients. Tremendous amount of knowledge was exchanged during this segment of the meeting as the engineers let ideas flow freely among them.
Finally, the business department gave a review of the products delivered and shipments made to clients the company has completed in the year 2023, as well as all shipments that are en route. The team shared the progress they have made with business partners around the world, including new partnerships forged and new milestones reached with existing customers. Important international market data on key products was also presented and a brief analysis was given. The meeting concluded with a look at some noteworthy statistics of the company’s website, which saw an increasing number of both visitors and page visits in 2023.
